Lace wigs are divided into full lace wigs and lace front wigs. A full lace wig or lace front wig is a special wig made on a transparent lace base.
"Lace front" refers to a wig structure. The wig structure uses a transparent lace attachment at the front of the wig, and human or synthetic hair has been manually tied to the wig. Lace front wigs are very popular because they successfully mimic naturally-growing hair, making it difficult to identify them as wigs when worn.
Many people like lace front wigs for their versatility and credibility. The lace at the front mimics a natural hairline, allowing you to pull the wig off your face with a variety of hairstyles. Putting on a lace wig is easy and fast. First, flatten your hair and prepare your skin. Next, make adjustments to the wig, such as tightening straps and trimming the lace. Finally, stick the wig with adhesive or wig tape. After the wig is perfectly arranged, you can shape it according to your preference!
1. Skin test
First, you need a skin test to determine if you have any sensitivity to the adhesive. Apply a small amount to sensitive areas of the skin, such as inside the elbows or behind the ears. Leave it for about 15 minutes, and then remove it. If there is irritation or redness, do not use the adhesive, but choose another type or brand. If there is no irritation, please continue.
2. Fix the hair
Before putting on a wig, you need to prepare your hair. You can braid longer hair to the scalp to form a flat surface, or wrap it if the hair is short. Before applying any adhesive, make sure you have all your hair fixed.
3. Wear the wig
Wash your forehead and let it dry, Apply glue along the hairline to ensure it spreads evenly, then dry for about 3 minutes. Then put a wig on your head and make sure it matches your hairline. Use your fingertips to cover the glue with the wig from the center to the ears. Style the wig. Human hair wigs can be styled with regular brushes and high-temperature styling tools. Synthetic wigs can be styled with wide-toothed combs or wig brushes.
